2019: Niger Delta militants caution Buhari, promise to stop him

The Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators on Sunday promised that it would not bolster President Buhari in the event that he pronounced for a second term in office.
Pioneer of the coalition, John Duku, said as opposed to help Buhari, it would back any hopeful that would address issues influencing the advancement of the Niger Delta region.
The gathering pioneer reviewed that a portion of the agitators communicated their help for Buhari amid the 2015 decision, yet included that the difficulties of the oil-rich region had not been considered important.
He stated, "We won't give him bolster (for a second term). Regardless of the possibility that we have given a gathering the mandate to talk about for our benefit, we won't bolster his second term offer and that is reality.
"We will bolster a competitor that will advance Niger Delta issues, an applicant that has a similar comprehension and feeling like the late Umaru Yar'Adua had for the Niger Delta region. He (Yar'adua) worked with us.
"Be that as it may, we don't think the President is keen on a second term on the grounds that there are a considerable measure of omissions in his initially term. We can't score him (President Buhari) up to 40 for each penny as far as execution.
There are a great deal of issues that his government has not tended to. He is not sufficiently solid to keep running for a second term; that is the manner by which we see it. I don't figure he will announce for a second term," Duku said.
