Boko Haram: Police affirm suicide assault in Borno, say 13 executed

The Borno State Police Command on Monday Confirmed suicide bomb assault at around 10:50 am, which killed 13 people, including the suicide bombers. 

An announcement from the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Victor Isuku Monday evening stated, "Today at around 1050hrs, two guys and a female suicide bomber, completed composed suicide bomb assaults at various locations in Mashemari village in konduga LGA. 

"The primary explosion happened when there was hints of sporadic shooting in a farm. 

"In the resulting stampede, the principal bomber exploded. While the other two bombers exploded inside the village, and near the place of the village Head (Bulama). 

"Thirteen (13) people including the three suicide bombers kicked the bucket in the three explosions, while sixteen people supported wounds and were cleared to General Hospital, Konduga. 

"Police EOD and SARS groups were prepared to the scene, and commonality reestablished," the announcement said.
