Port Harcourt Traders Hail Wike for Reproducing Market

A few traders in Mile 1 Market in Diobu, Port Harcourt, have recognized the State Government for the continuous reproduction of the market which was decimated by flame a few years back. 

The traders made the honor in partitioned interviews with the News Organization of Nigeria (NAN) in Port Harcourt on Sunday. 

NAN reviews that the market was gutted by flame amid the Gov. Chibuike Amaechi's administration. 

Mrs Celine Okoro said she could ever stay thankful to the state government for reproducing the market. 

She said that since the market was burned to the ground, life had not been simple for her and communicated trust that her business would passage better in the market after the finishing of the venture. 

Another merchant, Mr Pius Ikedi, said it had been feverish for him offering his products by the roadside since the market was demolished. 

Ikedi noticed that it was dangerous one to work together near the street since this presented one to street mishaps caused by some careless individuals. 

He said the hazard would be maintained a strategic distance from with the fruition of the venture. 

Likewise, Mrs Mary Jonah lauded Gov. Nyesom Wike for leaving on the venture and asked his partners to help the present administration. 

He said the state government had demonstrated worry for the traders in Mile1 market by leaving on the reproduction venture. 

Another dealer, Mr Linus Nwankwo stated: "I thank the representative for reconstructing the market; our lives are presented to risk as we peddle our products along the streets. 

"The representative has come to spare us from the peril we have been confronting.''
